The beaches of Cair Paravel were deathly still, painting a picturesque scene of tranquil beauty. However, if anyone was looking closely, they would be able to see a faint outline in the distant sky, faintly resembling a hawk. As the shadow drew closer, though, it became obvious that it was most definitely not a bird, but a dragon.
Suri beat her wings twice in excitement when the shores of Narnia came into view. "Finally," she thought to herself, a sense of pride swelling within her. This was her homeland.. And yet it seemed so foreign. It'd been so long since she'd last seen its beauty.
She circled once over the shimmering sand, rapidly drawing nearer to the ground before she beat her wings once, slowing her descent. Her hindlegs hit the ground with a 'thump' before she dropped to her forelegs also.
Her green eyes swept over the landscape, eager to explore all the various realms of her homeland. First, however, she wished to learn a bit about what had happened in her absence. Raising on her powerful hind legs, she stretched her wings to their full extent, arching her long neck before releasing a tremendous roar that echoed off the cliffs and the castle nearby.
Neatly dropping back to the sand and folding her wings to her sides, she lumbered towards the shining castle on the clifftop, admiring it from afar. She didn't know if she wanted to approach the fortress or not, unsure whether or not the Narnians would welcome an unknown dragon. She was well aware that she could appear rather threatening at first glance.
And so she waited. For whom, she wasn't sure. But if no one answered her call, she supposed she would have to find them herself.
((Long post.. I had a little bit too much free time on my hands >< Who needs sleep anyways?))

((Yayyyz I finally got my muse back ^^ Which makes me want to write a book all in one post XD Oh wellz.. Y'all don't have to read this if you don't want to.. It's just Peter's transition from England to Narnia..))
-----
Meanwhile, not far away from the beast, a boy slept fitfully on the beach as the tide lapped at his side. The tide finally reached his face, filling his nose with stinging salt water. He coughed and spluttered, wiping his face while his blue eyes fluttered open. He looked around groggily before becoming fully aware of his surroundings.
He gazed around at the beach, the expanse of water, the castle sitting atop the nearby cliffs. "Narnia," he whispered, a grin spreading across his face. He scooped up the sand in one hand, letting it trickle through his fingertips. Laughing, he scrambled to his feet, exclaiming joyously, "Narnia!"
His private celebration was soon interrupted, however, when a magnificently terrifying roar split the tranquil silence. Instinctively he reached towards his hip where a sword hilt should have been. "It's not there, Peter" he reminded himself, for Peter was his name.
Peter stared wide eyed when he saw a flash of silver and became aware that an enormous beast was on the beast not too far away. Curious, he made his way across the expanse of sand towards the beast, narrowing his eyes in curiosity. He was careful to keep his distance, well aware that he was unarmed.
Suri's tail flicked when she heard a barely discernible noise to her right. Her eyes slid to find the source and her keen vision recognized a figure not far away. She swung her head to get a better look at the figure, and was surprised to find that it was, in fact, a Son of Adam.
Peter stopped dead in his tracks, eyes widening when they met with the beast's green ones. Staring for a moment, he realized that it was a dragon he was looking at. 'Since when did dragons inhabit Narnia?' he thought fleetingly.
Suri's mouth twitched in a dragon's smile, glad that the young human had not run away, as most creatures would have done. She craned her neck so that her head was right up next to the human's, her leering gaze locked with his.
Peter swallowed his fear, blinking twice as the dragon drew herself right up next to him. "In my glory days I would have known what to say," he thought to himself, unable to move, or do anything for that matter. "Of course, then I would have had my sword.."
Suri stared at the boy a moment longer before cocking her head in confusion. Narrowing her eyes, she asked, "Why do you talk as an old man does, boy?"
He didn't think it was possible, but Peter was even more shocked when the dragon's voice entered his head. He was positive her mouth hadn't moved; she had been right up in his face, afterall. "Can you hear my thoughts?" he asked aloud, his voice a bit shaky.
"Only those you want me to," she said, though her mouth did not move. She blew out a puff of smoke through her nostrils, chuckling at his naive question.
Peter was a bit confused by her answer, but satisfied nonetheless. "I'm Peter.." he said, unaccustomed to introducing himself with his full title after six months in England.
Suri finally backed away from him, drawing her head up to its full height, flaring her wings a bit in vanity. "And I, Peter, am Suriana," she said. She then neatly folded her wing to her side, still glaring at him with a leering gaze. "How old are you, Peter?"
"It's a pleasure to have met you, Suriana," Peter said, bowing his head in greeting. At her next question, however, he paused. He had spent 15 years in England and 10 in Narnia on top of that.. "In all actuality I have lived 25 years," he said.
Suri cocked her head. "Apparently you humans have gotten scrawnier in my absence. To my unaccustomed eyes, you appear a mere boy.."
Peter bit his lip, trying to figure out the best way to describe how his life had transpired in a short sentence. He discovered there was none. "It's.. a long story," he said, hoping that would be enough to suffice.
Suri nodded, "I understand. I, too, have things in my past I wish not to reveal."
It wasn't that Peter wanted to hide what had happened to him, it was just he didn't know how to describe it to someone who obviously did not know his rank in Narnia. How long had passed since Narnia had last seen him? It had been six months in England, but dragons hadn't been in Narnia when he was last there... He shook his head, bringing himself back to the matter at hand, and asked, "What year is it?"
At this, Suri narrowed her eyes even more. This was certainly a very peculiar boy.. er, man.. "Having only just arrived, I do not know the answer to your question. I had hoped you would be the one with the answers to many of my questions."
Peter shook his head. Okay, this was confusing. "I've been away from Narnia for a while.." he began, his gaze drifting from the dragon to the castle up above. "I believe, however, that if we can reach the Cair, our questions will be answered."
Suri looked up at the shimmering castle, nodding. "I will bear you to the castle," she said before swiftly hooking the collar of the boy's peculiar clothes with one of her fangs and promptly dropping him upon her back.
Peter was wide-eyed when the dragon placed him upon her back. He sat stiff-backed, having ridden a horse, a unicorn, and even a centaur (a very regal honor), but never a dragon. He tentatively ran a hand across the unusually warm crystal scales, blinking in amazement.
"Hang on," Suri prompted. Peter barely had time to clutch one of her spinal spikes before she was up in the air with a leap and a flap. At first Peter was speechless, amazed by the pure randomness of it all. Only hours ago he thought he had been asleep in bed, only to wake up and find he was in Narnia, the land he had ruled for nearly 10 years. And now, he was riding a dragon. He laughed in excitement, feeling weightless as the glided through the air towards the Cair. It was one of the most magnificent feelings of his life.
Suri bared her fangs in a smile, pleased by the boy's thrill. It was the first time she had seen a human in nearly 110 years, and now she was allowing him to ride upon her back? Oh, Narnia did do such strange things to her. She liked the sense of belonging and companionship, however.
As the pair drew closer to the Cair, Peter's joy soon turned to regret. He was in Narnia, but where were his siblings? He only hoped he would be able to find them at Cair Paravel.

As Ana took her horse out of the stall and saddled her she began to think that maybe they werent comming back. Pehaps they had left for an important reson back at home and home had made them want to stay there. As she rode around the castle tears fell down her face. She longed to see Peter again and vowed to herself that they were comming back and that she would confess her love to Peter.
As she reached the beach she thought she herd voices. She looked down and saw a man and a dragon. She then pulle out her sword and raced down to the water to defend the man. About midway she realised that it was the missed king. She stopped her horse and ran to meet him. They were good friends before and overjoyed to see him she shouted his name. "Peter!" she said as she ran.

((Peter's in the air, but it'll still work ^^))
Peter gazed at the castle before him, unwilling to look down at the ground for fear of how high up they were. When he heard his name called, however, he was forced to look down.
He got a bit queasy at their height, but all fears were dispelled when he saw who it was calling his name. "Wait!" Peter yelled at the dragon over the beat of her wings.
Suri blew out a puff of smoke in annoyance. "Is there a problem, Peter?" she asked haughtily. She wanted to tell him to be quiet and enjoy the scenery, but held herself in check.
"Can we go back down.. Please?" he asked. "There's a woman down there.. And I know her."
Suri sighed. "Alright, but I can't promise a smooth landing.." Besides, this girl he spoke of might have a few answers.
She stopped flapping her wings and spun into a dive, only slowing when they were a couple of yards from the ground. She beat her wings once then, landing on her forelegs with yet another loud 'thump.'
Peter was jostled a bit on the landing, but unscathed nonetheless. He slid down off the dragon, landing on the sand rather ungracefully. "Thank you, Suri," he conveyed to her through his thoughts before turning to Ana.
"Ana," he said, smiling. "You don't know how relieved I am to see you." At least he knew one of his friends still remained in Narnia.. And she didn't look much different from when he last saw her.

Walking along the sandy beach close to the castle, a young lady teared ocean. She teared for it has been a long time since she had arrived in Narnia and now she is happy for coming back and she also teared for something sad, Peter. She had loved him forever, since they live right next door to him and his siblings. She looked up from the sand and looked out through the ocean. "Oh for what I wouldn't give to see him again." she said.
She quietly continued looking out to into the sea and wondering what it would have been like if she had stayed in England rather than come to Narnia. She had a choice, to either stay in England and come back in a few months or come now and see what it has become and to help with her reign of being a Princess. She obviously chose to come, but now she regrets it.
She heard a faint voice inside her mind. A voice of which she new so very fondly. "Keiley. Where are you?" the voice inside her mind states. It was Peter's voice. She quickly shook the thought of him being here again and continued on along the beach. Her sapphire eyes quickly turned back to her bare feet, while her shoes where in her hand.
The wind blew her towards the castle as if telling her something. As the wind blew, Keiley's lovely lavender dress and silver cloak got a bit soggy. "Great." she said, silently. She felt her head for a slight moment, to see if her crown was still there. She breathed deeply and sighed.
Moreso, the wind kept blowing her towards the castle. She sighed again and gave in with forcing her body to keep going in the opposite direction of the wind. Keiley walked with the wind to see faint, familar outlines of humans and a weird creature she had not known of that lived in Narnia still. She walked a tiny bit faster to catch up with the figures before they took off.
Keiley finally caught up with them and figured out that it was Peter that was there. "Peter." she called out with her accent visible. She ran up to him and hugged him. "I've missed you. Its been so long!" she said. She continued rambling on until he would shush her.
((I'm sorry it terrible...and you can tell me if anything is wrong...and sorry for my terrible writers' block...^_^))

Peter turned around in surprise at the sound of another voice and was pleased to see Keiley. Relief flooded over him, now aware that his friends were still in Narnia.
He laughed at her excitement, glad to be back with two of his friends, and most of all glad to be back in the land he loved. At Keiley's mention of how long it had been, however, he said, "Wait... How long has it been since I was last here?" He knew it'd been a long, torturous six months in England, but he couldn't be positive how much time had transpired in Narnia.

"Well I have only been here for about 2 years. That should be about 3 months ago. How come you didn't come, when I had to make the choice or did you not know about that?" Keiley asked. Her sapphire eyes were closed as her arms were wrapped around him still. Her strawberry blonde hair swayed as the wind hit her back.
Her bow and arrow were left inside the castle for today, which meant she only had her sword with her and her faerie powers. She quietly felt for her sword on her right side, to see if it was there. Luckily it was still there. All of a sudden, as she hugged him for a quick second, Keiley's purple, blue, and green wings just popped up from behind her back. "Oh, Peter, did I mention when I come to Narnia, I am part faerie?" she questioned him with a half-smile on and her eyes faced to the right of her body.

Peter was confused by her answer, replying with a "I didn't know?" He pushed the thought from his mind, though. It didn't matter when or how he had gotten to Narna, only that he was there.
A low rumble emanated from Suri, her forked tongue lashing out of her mouth in annoyance. She hadn't flown for days just to sit and watch a boy make nice with two girls. "Peter," she began, ready to tell him goodbye and well-met.
Peter returned the quick hug, surprised when wings seemingly sprouted from her back. "So you are," he said before he was interrupted by a voice in his mind. "Oh!" he exclaimed turning to both girls and laying a hand on the dragon's broad shoulder. "Ana, Keiley.. This is Suriana.." he said.
Suriana dipped her head slightly, speaking through her thoughts so that all three could hear, "It's a pleasure to meet you.." Her gaze then turned directly to Peter. Whoever the boy was, he obviously knew these Daughters of Eve. "Peter, I must be going.. My patience grows thin," she said, unfolding her wings from her side.
"Wait," Peter said, stilling her with a touch of the hand. Turning to Keiley and Ana, he asked, "Should we take this up to the Cair?"

"Hello, Suriana. Nice to meet you." Keiley said. She gave a low laugh when Peter hadn't known that she was part faerie. She smiled again and then looked at the dragon's wings open, like her own were. "I think it would be a good idea to bring this up to Cair. Its nice in there and you haven't seen it in a while." she said, with a huge smile on.
She began walking towards Cair Paravel, when she stopped. Keiley waited for Peter to join in her walk, so they could get aquainted again. "I'm so sorry I didn't make myself clear. I meant I came here 3 months ago in England and then 2 years passed here through that time when you were in England. Didn't somebody tell you I had to make a choice?" she asked, with a cocked brow.

Water. All around. Can't breathe. Salty taste. What's happening?
Edmund thrashed about wildly, opening his eyes but soon clamping them shut. Ouch, that burned. Suddenly something in his brain clicked. Somehow he had ended up underwater, and he had to swim up to the surface. But which way was up? He had to open his eyes and see what position he was in, no matter how much the salt water stung. Quickly he blinked, seeing in a flash that he needed to swim to the right. He thrust his arms wildly outward, kicking with his legs powerfully. His clothes and shoes added a deadweight, making it all the more harder to swim. He was running out of air, though, and needed to reach the surface.
His head suddenly burst from within the depths of the ocean, gasping for breath. It took a moment for his burning eyes to focus, but when he was finally able to see, he noticed his brother and a few others standing in the distance on a beach. Looming overhead to the right was the regal castle of Cair Paravel. This was all too much. Just a few moments ago he had been looking for Peter back home, and now he was in what appeared to be Narnia.
"Hullo there!" Edmund called out, cupping his hands around his mouth before thrusting them out into the water and beginning to swim towards the shore. His head was spinning, and he could feel a miserable headache forming. He still hadn't caught his breath when his feet touched the sandy ocean floor and he stumbled onto the beach. His clothes were sopping wet, dripping from head to toe, as he said weakly, "Magic has the most unfortunate timing."
OoC// *dances* Hooorrrayyyy for post-stealing! *dances around Boo*
