((XDD ..*feels like a POTC2 barbarian Indian* Balikiliki! Dance around me!
Peter was just about to reply when a sudden growl from Suri made him jump. He was about to ask her what was wrong when her voice entered his mind. "Look." Her tail flicked to the sea.
He turned to his right to see a figure thrashing about in the ocean. Narrowing his eyes, he noticed that the figure was, of course, his brother.
"Edmund!" he cried, rushing forward just as his brother stumbled onto the sand. He couldn't help but laugh at both his brother's statement and condition. "Look at what the sea coughed up," he said, roughly swiping a hand over his brother's hair, causing tiny waterfalls of salty water to spill over his face.
Suri stared keenly at the boy, her cat-like eyes leering at him carefully. He was obviously Peter's brother, but unmistakeably different in his own way. Two brothers, both Sons of Adam... Could it be possible? She hadn't heard much about the rulers of Narnia, but what she had heard through word of mouth definitely matched up with these boys. The rulers had supposedly been missing for months though.. Well, that would explain why Peter had been so disoriented...

OoC// *dances* Still blinking wearily at the salt clouding his eyes, he managed to narrow them on his brother, something of a scowl tugging at his lips. "Oh, thank you, brother dear," he hissed, shaking his head and smirking all the same. Lovely. He had only been in Narnia for a few moments, and they were already at it again. Which reminded him. "Peter, we're in Narnia!" He bit his lip, inhaling deeply and glancing back at what appeared to be the Cair yet again. "We...are in Narnia, aren't we?" Yes, and he had just been drowning in the Eastern Ocean, hadn't he? oo; Sadly. What a way to be seen. Not only was he clothed in London attire, but he was sopping wet while clothed in it. Hesitantly lifting a hand to brush a stray lock of dark hair from his hair, he muttered under his breath, "This is so confus--" He broke off, though, as he turned, and was indeed facing a dragon. ...How did he not notice that? oo; "Peter...?" His eyes widened slightly, taking a hesitant step backwards as he gazed up at the Beast, suddenly feeling quite small and quite unarmed. He only remembered so much research over dragons, and how harmful and deadly they could be to even the greatest of armies. The fact that he was defenseless was not contenting him in the least.

Peter smiled at Edmund as his younger brother mirrored his own actions only hours before. "Edmund, meet Suriana, the first dragon to see Narnia in over 100 years.. As far as I know, at least.."
Suri snaked her head towards the pair, gently pushing Peter away with her nose. She wanted a better look at this boy. Barely inches from his face, she stared at him, never blinking.
Finally she blew a puff of smoke through her nostrils in her own way of chuckling. "You have a dragon's spirit," she conveyed to the boy through her thoughts. With that she blew on him rather roughly and quickly, but harmless all the same. When she finished, he was dry.
Yes, she could tell by his eyes that he was a stubborn one. And he had already shown his sarcastic wit through previous comments. She blinked slowly, pondering her decision. She had only just met him, but she had been told when she was younger that dragons had an intuitive sense about these sorts of things.
With a quick motion she grabbed him by the collar and flung him atop her back, much like she had done to Peter before. Rising from the ground onto her hind legs, she released yet another tremendous roar, only this one had a much deeper pitch.
Returning to the earth, she turned her head to the side and gazed at him. She smiled, though on a dragon such a thing is rather maniacal, and spoke to him through her mind once more. "I have chosen you to become my dragon rider."
Peter stared at the pair, dumbstruck. Okayy.. What was going on?

He blinked again as Peter went on to introduce the dragon, trying to regain the strength in his legs and his dignity all the same. Well, then, if his brother had nothing to be afraid of, neither did he. It was rather hard to convince that to himself though, when the dragon snaked it's head beofre him. It was harder to keep from trembling in the gaze of such a great Beast, but he managed, head held high, returning the gaze expectantly. Only did he flinch when the puff of smoke swirled from her, and even more so was he surprised at the echoing within his thoughts. "Thank you?" He wasn't sure what to make of this. oo; But he had little time to think over it, for the dragon was not yet done, and proceeded to breath once more, warming and drying him before he had even noticed. Perhaps dragons weren't all that bad. ^^ But before he could thank her or process ANYTHING whatsoever, Suri had ahold of him by the collar and he was on her back, dumbfounded and trying to breathe all the while before her roar broke him from his reverie. With a yelp, he clung to one of the spikes protruding along her spine, watching as the ground grew further away as she reared-- and he had thought a horse's rear was high. oo; So sadly mistaken. And yet, the strange things could never end. "Rider?" He stared at her, feeling very out of place and shaken all at once. "Me? Don't you mean Peter?" Dear Lion. Dragon rider? oo;

There was a dragon on the beaches of Cair Paravel.
Making sure her faithful sword was resting at her hip, the silver-haired young woman dashed into the sand, running out to investigate. As was her duty. Or...it used to be her duty. When there was still someone around to protect. Still, she felt useless when she was doing nothing, and besides...her interest was piped. There was a DRAGON on the beaches of Cair Paravel! She hadn't ever seen a dragon in Narnia...did it come in peace, or was it there to cause trouble? Where had it come from? Why was it here? They were all questions she wanted answered...it would give her something to do, at least.
As she got closer however, she slowed to a stop. The dragon wasn't the only creature on the beaches of Cair Paravel.
Was she dreaming again...? Because it didn't seem possible...it couldn't be... Slowly, she pinched herself to make sure, and realized in wide-eyed shock that she was indeed, awake. Her teal-colored gaze lifted from her arm to the two boys with the dragon.
And for once, she couldn't find her voice.

Oh, Mother of Dragons.. Did he truly not know what a Rider was? Dragons had been gone from Narnia for far too long. "No, I most certainly do not mean Peter. I mean you. Whether you like it or not, I am bound to you. It is the nature of things, woven by Deep Magic long ago..." That was all he needed to know for now. Maybe she had taken things a bit quickly, but she'd waited 173 years for a rider, and she wasn't about to let the moment slip through her claws.
At a sound from across the beach, her tail flicked and her head swung around to stare at the figure. Oh great Aslan. Another woman.
Peter, too, noticed the figure.. Oh, he would recognize that figure. "Luna!" he said, smiling.

Dearst Lion. oo;
Staring rather blankly at the dragon, he attempted to let her words sink into his mind. He failed. Miserably. What in the Lion's name did she mean by dragon rider? Even more so he was surprised at the word bound. Bound? To him? He blinked at her, not really managing to understand a word Suri said. "Says who?" Deep Magic? He never remembered the Deep Magic stating ANYTHING about dragons, or riders, or anything he was being told now. Perhaps she spoke of a different Magic? Or maybe he was simply not told of this...
But that still left open the stricken phrase that he was...er...chosen. "Why not Peter?" Really, why not Peter? This was rather new to him to be recieving such attention firsthand. "He's a High King, older, wiser..." Indeed.
Still clinging to the spike for dear life, he noticed her attention had been withdrawn...somewhat smugly. He turned, looking in the direction mutual to hers, and finally noticed whom Suri, and apparantly Peter, already had. "Luna?"
Was it really?
Goodness, one appearance after another. oo;

It didn't seem possible.
Edmund and Peter had been missing for months...all four of the Pevensies had disappeared mysteriously, leaving her confused and defeated - something had happened to them, and she had had no idea what. But now...here the boys were...indeed, boys again. They looked the same ages they did when she first met them, which was odd in itself.
But the main point was...they were back.
Finally, she regained control of her voice. "Peter...! Edmund!" She stood there for a moment more, then threw herself at Peter, throwing her arms around him to make sure he was real. "I can't believe it...!" They were really back...! Really home!
She glanced up at the dragon now, faultering for a moment. Apparently it was friendly, seeing as Edmund was sitting atop it's back...but still. "Uhm...who's your friend...?"

Oho...Believe it. He had no intention of ever sitting atop the Beast. <<'
Still blinking absurdly, he glanced back down at Luna--yes so it was; the platinum hair could not be denied-- smiling weakly. Well. If only he could give her a proper greeting. After all...it had been awhile since they had seen each other.
"This is...Suri. My--er, the Dragon." Oh, Aslan, stupid did not even begin to cover how he felt. And he had nearly said 'my'! ...How strange. oo;

Suri blinked at the girl, rather tired of introductions for one day. She should have expected as much, seeing as it was her first visit to Narnia, but her patience was wearing thin (not to say she had much patience in the first place.)
"I did not choose Peter because Peter is not my Rider," she said, growling softly. He was an... interesting... boy, but she found his polite superiority complex annoying. >>
"I apologize for thrusting such a surprise on you, but you must understand my excitement. One hundred and seventy three years is quite a long time to wait for a companion, especially when 100 of those years are spent in solitude.." It was a rarity indeed for a dragon to apologize.
"In short, I am bound to protect you, no matter the cost, in return of your companionship." That didn't explain much, of course, but she decided she would allow him the chance to figure these things out as time progressed.
Meanwhile, Peter returned Luna's hug before pulling back as Ed somewhat clumsily introduced Suri. He was still rather confused at the dragon's reaction, but hesistant to ask what was going on. He couldn't hear the conversation between the two, so he preferred to stay out of it. Turning to Luna, he asked, "Have Susan and Lucy already arrived?"
