Name: Suriana "Suri"
Age: 173
Species: Dragon
Alliance: True Narnian
Description: Her scales can be defined as white, but they tend to catch and reflect the colors around her, making it a bit difficult to distinguish exactly what color she is. Her slitted cat-like eyes are a deep green, and her spinal spikes are the same color as ivory. She is fairly small by a dragon's standards, though to any other creature (with the exception of giants, of course) she's massive.
Personality: Being a dragon, she's rather introverted, and prefers to keep to herself. She's usually peaceful, though when angered she can be a holy terror. She's stubborn in her beliefs and traditions, as most dragons are, but consequently is fanatically loyal to those who can earn her trust.
History: No one's sure exactly where Suri came from, but it is well known that she's one of the few remaining Narnian dragons. Her species dwindled when they fought in the first war against the White Witch at the beginning of the 100 Year Winter. When the war started she was 73, still quite young for a dragon. The dragons that survived that first war dispersed when the winter began, spreading mostly to the Lone Islands and beyond. It's rumored that some even reached Aslan's country. Suri didn't make it quite that far, but she did manage to find a small Island that she took refuge on, and remained there for nearly 110 years.
Word finally reached her that the White Witch had been defeated, however, and she has just recently returned to Narnia, only to discover that the Four Sovereigns who defeated the Witch haven't been seen for three months. A shame- she really would have liked to meet them.
Sample Post:
A shadow passed over Terebinthia, causing many of the small creatures to look up in bewilderment. Overhead flew a magnificent beast with glittering scales, enormous wings, and a barbed tail. The commoners stood, slackjawed, as the beast slowly made it's way across the blue expanse of sky. Could it be that dragons had returned?
Suri smiled to herself at the sight of the awed creatures, tempted to release a magnificent roar, just to watch them jump. She kept herself in check, though, and drifted over the thermals and salty ocean breeze, lazily drifting over the small island. Narnia had to be nearby.
((Haha, I swear I didn't think of Tomkat's baby when I named her.. And yes, I sort of stole the whole "dragons are returning" idea from Eragon :/ Don't sue me, please..))
