Haley walked through the huge front archway and down the stairs towards the courtyard. She went up to the giant fountain and kneeled on one of the stone benches. She looked into the water, looking at herself in the rippling reflective mirror. Her cousins had gone on a trip to the Lamp Post at least three months ago and never returned. She had a feeling they went back through the Wardrobe into London, but wasn't sure. And now, she was lonely.

Galen was sitting on one of the benches laid out in the courtyards, lost in his thoughts.
It's has been three months....they were last seen in lantern wastes....Susan.....His mind wandered for a few minutes until he was brought out of his wandering by a figure moving towards the fountain and on to another bench. Looking up to see who it was, he recognised it was Haley. Standing up from his bench he moved to where she sat.
"Penny for your thoughts?" he asked while taking a seat on the other side of the bench, seeing the worry and loneliness in her eyes.

Haley turned at the question, feeling her hand slip to the hilt of her sword. There, at the other side of the bench, sat Galen. "Oh, hello Galen," she said, removing her hand from the sword's hilt. She turned back to the fountain's water and sighed. "It's just... my cousins have been gone for three months and... why couldn't I have gone with them?" she said, sinking down so that her head was in her hands.

"You think they might have gone back your world?" Galen asked turning his towards the fountain.

Haley looked at Galen and then back to the water. She bit her top lip and looked down at the pool of water at the bottom of the fountain. She couldn't say anything without bursting into tears so she simply nodded.

Galen turned his head back to see her nod. Letting out a small sigh, he leaned forward. Letting the rustling of the water fill the silence for awhile before he spoke up again.
"If you feel that you've been left behind, don't Haley." He continued to watch the fountain as he spoke. "You are also not of this world, it will only be a matter of time before you join them...."
A luxury I don't have, being I AM from this world.... He added to himself

Haley nodded and looked over at Galen. She saw his solumn face and smirked. "Don't worry Galen. When I go, you'll come with me. I'm sure Susan will be glad to see you," she added, looking at him with sparkeling eyes. She knew he missed Susan and she wanted to make sure he got to see her again.

Galen couldn't help but smile at her guesture. Now looking at her, he saw her eyes sparkle. "Thank you, Haley, that would mean alot to me." He replyed, his mood lightened, he correcting his earlier thought.
Well, maybe I do....

Haley smirked. "I know it would. That's just the kind of person I am," she said in a stuborn, obnoxious voice. She jumped up from the bench and put her hands on her hips. "You don't think I've figured you out during the five years we've known each other?" she asked, smirking.

Ana walked out into the courtyard with a worried look on her face. Peter was her best friend and Susan had given her so much help. She only wished that she knew where they had gone. The air out there on the courtyard was sweet and cool. She sied as she watched the waves crash onto the golden beach. She then looked off to the side of the courtyard and saw two very friendly faces. Galen and Haley! She walked over to them and smiled. " was hoping for a better welcoming party then this." she said in a jokingly matter. She had been gone for two weeks searching for the four well loved rulers. "Haley, there are no signs of them, I'm sorry." she said upset at the fact that she had to tell her the news.
